Hot Springs Police Officer Davis reports that he was dispatched to the 1100 block of Mineral Street in reference to a trespassing complaint at approximately 7am on August 2nd, 2020.
Officer Davis arrived on the scene where he saw a black Nissan Altima parked in the driveway of the victim’s house. The officer made contact with the two occupants of the vehicle. One of the occupants was Julia Puckett, 29 of Emperado Way in Hot Springs Village. Ms. Puckett was determined to be a probationer with an active search waiver on file.
Probationer Puckett was asked to step out of the vehicle so officers could search her and the passenger side of the vehicle where she was located. Probationer Puckett then turned toward the backseat and officers watched her place an object into her bra.
HSPD Sergeant Zaner (Female) arrived on the scene to perform a search of Probationer Puckett. Sgt. Zaner located a green meth pipe in Probationer Puckett’s bra during the search. The meth pipe looked to have been used.
Probationer Puckett admitted to officers that she tried to hide the meth pipe in her bra when she was asked to step out of the vehicle.
Probationer Puckett was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing. She is charged with Felony Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia with bond set at $2500.
