Alleged: Parolee..No Headlights..Meth Bust; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Police Officer Plummer reports that while on on patrol in the area of Hagen Street and Central Avenue on Saturday at 3AM, he saw a 2006 Nissan Highlander operating on city streets without headlights.  He conducted a traffic stop on that vehicle.

Contact was made with the driver, Amy Henson 40, of Orange Street in Hot Springs.  Ms. Henson’s pertinents were checked through the police computer.  The check revealed that she was on parole with a valid search waiver on file.

Off. Plummer asked if there was anything illegal inside the vehicle.  Parolee Henson said that there was a single hit of marijuana in her purse.  Off. Plummer searched the parolee’s purse. Inside, he found a small clear plastic bag with a white crystalline substance inside (weighing approximately .5 gram), marijuana (weighing approximately .9 grams), an orange pill inscribed ‘R029’ and two more white pills inscribed ‘512’.  Off. Plummer also found a glass meth pipe with a white substance and burn marks beside the driver seat.

Parolee Amy Henson 40, Of Orange Street in Hot Springs – allegedly driving around at 3AM with a purse full of dope and no headlights on.

A field test of the white crystalline substance showed to test positive for methamphetamine. The orange inscribe pill was later identified as Alprazolam and the two while pills were identified as Acetaminophen and oxycodone.

Parolee Henson was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.

Parolee Henson is charged with Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Felony Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Felony Possession Of. A Controlled Sunstance Schedule 2 and Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance Schedule 4.  Bond is set at $9,500.00.
