All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Hot Springs Police Officer J. Smith reports that he was on patrol in the area of Oaklawn Casino when he found a black Mitsubishi Eclipse displaying a license plate that was assigned to a white Mitsubishi Eclipse. He turned on the blue lights and the suspect pulled into Sonic Drive-In and stopped.
Off. Smith Made contact with the driver, Kevin L. McQueen, 42, of McQueen Hill Road in Malvern, and his passenger, Elizabeth M. Louissaint, 31, of Parallel Street in Hot Springs. Both names were checked through the police computer. Mr. McQueen showed to be a wanted parolee with 3 arrest warrants and a search waiver on file. Parolee McQueen was arrested and officers searched the vehicle.
There is no mention of how Ms. Louissaint’s pertinents checked out.
A loaded syringe was found between the front passenger seat and the center console. The contents of the syringe were field tested and showed positive for meth.
Neither occupant claimed the syringe. So, they both were arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center.
Parolee McQueen is charged with Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Felony Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia and served with his arrest warrants for Failure To Appear x2 and Parole Violation with a bond amount totaling $6,000.
Ms. Louissaint is charged with Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance and Felony Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia with a bond amount totaling $5,000.
