All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Hot Springs Police Officer Rosburg reports that U.S. Park Service Rangers alerted him to gunfire that just happened in the area of Convention Boulevard near Laurel Street.
Off. Rosburg went to that area and found a guy in a maroon Pontiac convertible car. The person was on his knees in the passenger seat with the door open and his torso inside the vehicle.
The man’s pertinents were checked through the police computer. The check revealed that Dontae Lamont Addy, Jr., 33, homeless in Hot Springs, was a parolee with an active parole violation warrant and a warrant out of Hot Springs Court for Contempt Of Court. Parolee Addy was arrested.
Off. Rosburg searched the vehicle and found 13 various colored Ecstasy pills in the center console.
Parolee Addy was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing. He is charged with Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance with bond set at $3,500. Holds for the Arkansas Parole Board, U.S. Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms and a $2,500 Child Support Warrant have also been placed.
