Alleged: Man Strangles And Bites Woman – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officers were called to the call of an aggravated assault on Summer Street 5/30/20 at approximately 12:30 PM.

Hot Springs Police Officer Plummer reports that he arrived and made contact with the female victim. He noticed injuries to the right side of her face as well as a ping pong ball size bump on her head. Off. Plummer also saw dried blood behind her ear and several other injuries.

The victim stated that during an argument, Isaac Robinson, 32 of Silver Street in Hot Springs, allegedly took a wooden stake about three feet long and began hitting the victim in the torso, arms and legs. She was eventually able to get the stake.  The suspect then pulled a knife and held it to his throat, threatening to kill himself.  At this point, they got into a fight.  The suspect sat on the victim’s waist while punching her in the face and neck.  He also bit her left hand. The fight ended with Robinson strangling the victim until she became unconscious. She stated when she came to, Mr. Robinson was gone. An arrest warrant for Mr.Robinson was obtained and entered into the Police computer. The suspect and the victim had been dating for 4 years.

On 7/16/20 Hot Springs Police Officer Moore came into contact with Mr. Robinson, arrested and transported him to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.

Mr.Robinson is charged with Felony Aggravated Assault On A Family Member And Domestic Battery In The 3rd Degree with a bond amount totaling $3,500.00.
