All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Hot Springs Police Officer Greene reports that officers with his department were dispatched to 3rd Street on June 2, 2020, around 8PM in reference to a battery that had just taken place.
Officers arrived and were informed that the adult female victim went to the McDonald’s on Albert Pike Road. Off. Greene went to find and meet with the victim. He arrived quickly and made contact with the victim. She was seemed disoriented and was bleeding from several areas on her face.
She could not open her jaw without extreme pain, but was able to explain that Jason Robert Fryhover, 39, of Coventry Trail in Garland County, had punched her several times at the address on 3rd Street. Blood was running from her nose, her lips and several of her teeth had been broken off (some at the gum line). She had large a amount of swelling above the hair line that was visible through her hair and numerous red and bruised areas on her arms. She was transported by LifeNet Ambulance to the hospital and Off. Greene followed her up there.
The victim said she remembers at least 5 punches before losing consciousness. She woke up on the floor, but was not able to remember if she had been hit while knocked out. She was able to get to her vehicle and drive off as the suspect departed the scene.
Approximately 4 hours later, HSPD Officers located Mr. Fryhover at the 3rd Street address. They arrested him and transported him to the Garland County Detention Center for processing. During the arrest, Mr. Fryhover made several comments about how he hoped that the victim was injured.
He is charged with Felony Domestic Battery and was being held without bond.
