Hot Springs Police Sergeant L. Zaner reports that she was on patrol around the 1400 Block of Albert Pike Road when she watched a 2004 Cadillac DeVille disregard a stop light at the Albert Pike Road/Cooper Street Intersection on April 25,2020 around 8PM.

Rehannon Marietyne Dorsey, 28, of Pleasant Valley Street in Hot Springs – allegedly driving around with pills and meth with a juvenile in the car and a search waiver on file.

Sgt. Zaner turned on her blue lights and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.  She and back up officers made contact with the driver, Rehannon Marietyne Dorsey, 28, of Pleasant Valley Street in Hot Springs, and an unidentified juvenile passenger.  Ms. Dorsey appeared very nervous and was not able to produce any of the required documents common to a traffic stop.  While searching for this paperwork, Sgt. Zaner watched Ms. Dorsey cup something in her hand and place it down the back of her skirt.

Ms. Dorsey’s pertinents were checked through the police computer.  The check revealed that she had a search waiver on file.  Ms. Dorsey stepped out of the vehicle and she was searched.  During the search of her person, Sgt. Zaner found a plastic baggie containing 4 ecstasy pills down her skirt, exactly where Sgt. Zaner watched her put it just prior to the search.  Ms. Dorsey’s bra area was searched and .3 gram of meth was found there.

Ms. Dorsey was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.  She is charged with Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance x2 with a bond amount totaling $5,000.

The arrest report made no mention of what happened with the juvenile passenger that was in the car.
