About 5 days later, HSPD received an anonymous tip that the stolen Toyota was hidden in a garage on West St. Louis Street. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the garage. During this evolution, Tyrell George, 34, of West St. Louis Street in Hot Springs, arrived and said that this is his residence. The officers advised Mr. George that the Toyota in his garage was stolen. Mr. George replied “I thought it might be”.
Detectives cleared the scene and obtained an arrest warrant for Mr. George charging Felony Theft By Receiving.
HSPD Officer Ward Went to Mr. George’s residence on March 1/2020 and arrested him on the theft warrant. Mr. George was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing. He is charged with Felony Theft By Receiving with a $3,500 bond.
