All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies were dispatched to Hardman Lumber Company (the former Buddy Bean Lumber Company) on Highway 270E this morning around 2:45AM for the call of a burglar alarm that had just been tripped.
Deputies arrived on scene to find that the front glass door and metal frame had been ripped from the wall and were laying in the parking lot about 30 feet from the building.
GCSO K-9 Team Sergeant Kellar and “Aton” went to the large, gaping hole in the wall and yelled warnings to anyone that may still be inside the store that they needed to make themselves known or be attacked by a police dog. Then, the dynamic duo entered the building to look for suspects.
No suspects were found, the building was cleared and the case was turned over to the GCSO Criminal Investigators.
No suspect information has yet been released. What may have been taken during the break-in is unknown to me.
