Hot Springs Police Officer West reports that he responded to a residence on Bull Bayou Road for the complaint of a disturbance yesterday around noon.
Off. West arrived and met with the victim who said that she was sitting in her living room when her relative, Anthony Chaun Kumpe, 47, of Bull Bayou Road in Hot Springs, forced his way into the home. The victim ran down the hallway with Mr. Kumpe chasing after her and yelling profanities.
The victim ran into the bathroom and shut the door. Mr. Kumpe forced his way into the bathroom. In doing so, he knocked the victim backwards. The victim said that Mr. Kumpe then grabbed her around the throat with both hands while yelling a threat to kill her. The victim was able to get loose, go outside and call police.
Off. West noted in the report that he saw minor injury to her head/neck.
A couple of hours later, Off. West responded to the same location in reference to Mr. Kumpe trespassing at the residence. Mr. Kumpe was located and arrested. He was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.
He is charged with Felony Domestic Battery, Terroristic Threatening and was served an arrest warrant for Failure To Appear with a no bond hold placed.
