Alleged: DWI Driver Hits Trash Dumpster..Over 3x The Legal Limit; Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Police Officer Moore reports that he was dispatched to the 700 Block of Spring Street Monday at to investigate a white pick-up truck in the grass honking its horn at 5:30AM.

Off. Moore arrived on scene and found the white truck in the grass next to a parking lot.  Tire tracks at the scene showed that the truck departed the street, struck a trash dumpster and rolled down a hill.  The truck was not able to make it back up the hill.

Off. Moore made contact with the driver, Jessica “Miz D Fine” Lynn Rissman, 45, of Ward Street in Hot Springs.  The arrest report says that Ms. Rissman was asleep with her head laying on the steering wheel and they keys to the vehicle in the ignition switch.  Ms. Rissman woke up and rolled down the window.  Off. Moore could smell the odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle.

Jessica “Miz D Fine” Lynn Rissman, 45, of Ward Street in Hot Springs – allegedly driving down Spring Street at over 3x the legal DWI limit.

DWI Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted.  Following the testing, Ms. Rissman was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center where she provided a breath sample in accordance with the DWI investigation.  Ms. Rissman scored .284% BAC on the Intox EC/IR-11 alcohol detection unit.

She is charged with DWI with a bond amount of $1,000.
