Evidence at the scene showed that the westbound white crossover type vehicle exited the right side of the pavement, entered the church parking lot at highway speed, struck the bushes that line the East wall of the church, came to a stop in the bushes, backed up several feet, turned north and drove through the parking lot, went over a curb onto a grassy hill, struck a large picnic table, re-entered the parking lot, hopped another curb  and became high-centered on that curb dangerously close to a retaining wall drop off of about 10 feet.
