Hot Springs Police Officer Larkin reports the following:
On 07/21/19 at approximately 2218 hours I Off. Larkin 145, along wit Cpl. Langley 112, responded to 2705 Central Avenue (Oaklawn Gaming and Casino) in reference to criminal trespass. Upon arrival I made contact with an Oaklawn security officer who stated that Heather Blasingame had been previously banned from the property on 03/14/19 and was refusing to leave.
Officers made contact with Blasingame in the women’s restroom near the front of the casino. Blasingame was handcuffed (checked for fit and double locked) and put in the back of a patrol unit. Upon search of her purse and person, a clear glass meth pipe with black residue on it was found wrapped in a paper towel in the purse.
Blasingame was arrested for Criminal Trespass and Drug Paraphernalia and transported to Garland County Detention Center for processing. At the jail Blasingame was read her HSPD Statement of Rights form and she agreed to answer questions. Blasingame admitted to being a regular meth user over the last four years and stated that the last time she used was earlier this morning.
Ms. Blasingame is charged with Felony Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia and Criminal Trespass with a bond amount totaling $3,000.
