Hot Springs Police were dispatched to the area of the Hot Springs Country Club yesterday afternoon for the report of a civilian vehicle chasing another civilian vehicle.  A couple of minutes later, the report came in that the vehicles were on the golf course.  Soon after, the call for an injury crash on the Hot Springs Country Club Golf Course near the 15th Hole came in.

A witness at the scene later told me that this episode took place in the middle of a junior golf tournament that was being held on the course for jr. high/high school teens.  According to the witness, the red car was chasing a gold SUV, both vehicles were airborne at 1 point and golfers had to run out of the way to keep from being struck by the confused drivers.  The red car reportedly crashed immediately after leaving the ground.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene.  1 person was transported from the scene by ambulance.

The wrecked vehicle was towed from the scene.

Any possibility of traffic/criminal charges for the drivers involved are unknown.

I personally have never see this many golfers on a golf course ever.  There were people and golf carts everywhere.
