Arkansas 911 News is issuing 3 corrections for this story.  This story posted on 10/22/2020 early AM.  Our first opportunity to obtain the arrest report was mid-afternoon.  Corrections were made before dark, same day.

CORRECTION: Name of Suspect is Carl Thomas Lane (Carl Thomas Seaman and Carl Thomas Lane is the same person)

CORRECTION: This story says that the suspect stabbed himself.   The HSPD arrest report says that it is unclear how Mr. Lane received his stab wound.

CORRECTION: This story says that Mr. Lane’s in jury was in the chest.  The arrest report says that the injury was in the abdomen.

Hot Springs Police, Hot Springs Fire & Rescue and LifeNet were initially dispatched to the call of a shooting on Santa Fe Street Tuesday Night around 11:30PM.  While en route, officers were advised that this was not a shooting, but rather, people had been stabbed.

2 of the victims were seriously injured during the alleged attack and the suspect allegedly stabbed himself in the chest.

Carl Thomas Seaman, 36, of Santa Fe Street in Hot Springs, was arrested at the scene and transported by ambulance to the hospital. He was later released from the hospital and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.  He is charged with Felony Battery 1st Degree and Felony Battery 2nd Degree with a no bond hold placed.
