ALLEGED: Attacks Ex’s Current Girlfriend With Brass Knuckles; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Police Department reports that officers responded to Pleasant Valley Street on December 27, 2019 around 9:50 am in reference to a disturbance.

Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the victims who said the male victim’s ex-girlfriend, Dakila Murphy, 21, of West 65th Street in Little Rock, entered their home uninvited and attacked the female victim with brass knuckles. Neither of the victims heard Ms. Murphy or knew she was in the home until she began attacking the female victim. The victims fought Ms. Murphy off, and she fled the scene.

The female victim had a large gash on her forehead and received medical attention at the hospital emergency room. An arrest warrant was obtained for Ms. Murphy.

HSPD Corporal De Foor served Ms. Murphy’s arrest warrant on January 3 around 1:00 pm near Malvern Avenue. Ms. Murphy was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.

Ms. Murphy is charged with Felony Residential Burglary, Felony Aggravated Assault, Third-Degree Battery, and Criminal Use Of A Prohibited Weapon. Her bond was set at $9,500.
