Around 8PM on 10/8/19 Garland County Patrol Deputies responded to the 3100 block of Albert Pike Road looking for a white male that allegedly pointed a gun at the complainant.
GCSO received another call to the same address after midnight on 10/9/19 for suspicious activity and someone trying to get in the complainant’s back door.
While Corporal Lane was talking with the complainant, he noticed a car pass by twice, buy was not able to get past the patrol units. K9 Patrol Sergeant Kellar approached the vehicle, and allegedly noticed a strong smell of marijuana when the passenger, Justyn Williams, rolled his window down.
When Mr. Williams was asked why he was acting nervous and if he had anything illegal on him, he allegedly admitted to having a bag of weed that he had just purchased under his seat and a pistol in his waistband.
Sgt. Kellar got the gun from Mr. Williams and Deputy Tatum searched him and arrested him.
Mr. Williams was allegedly found with a Glock 9mm, 4 baggies of weed with a total weight of 113.1 grams, and $800 cash. He was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing. He is charged with Felony Simultaneous Possession Of Drugs And Firearms and Felony Possession Of Sched. VI Controlled Substance With Purpose To Deliver, with a bond amount totaling $2,500 and No Bond for the Simultaneous charge.
