On January 2 at 10:20PM, Hot Springs Police responded to the complaint of an aggravated robbery that had just occurred at the EZ Mart on Summer Street.

The victim alleges that a bald man with a large kitchen knife (and specific description) came to the counter and asked for all the money in the register.  The victim handed over all the cash out of the register.  The suspect allegedly grabbed the money and ran away on foot.

HSPD Detective Falls got a tip the next week.  Parolee Alejadro H. Hernandez, 23, of Greenwood Avenue in Hot Springs, is supposed to be his EZ Mart robbery suspect.  Det. Fallis looked into it and was able to positively identify Parolee Hernandez as the person that allegedly robbed the EZ Mart.  Det. Fallis obtained arrest warrants for Parolee Hernandez.

Parolee Alejadro H. Hernandez, 23, of Greenwood Avenue in Hot Springs – charged with robbing an EZ Mart with a knife and breaking into 2 banks.

Parolee Hernandez was arrested the night of January 22 fleeing on foot from a bank that had just been burglarized on Airport Road.  He was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.

Parolee Hernandez is charged with Felony Aggravated Robbery and Theft Of Property with a bond amount totaling – no bond available and a parole hold has been placed.
