Alleged: ACC/SRT, HSPD SWAT Bust Wanted Parolee In Dope House; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

On 01/30/2020 Agents with Arkansas Community Corrections SRT Team attempted to serve an arrest warrant service at 1125 Greenwood St Hot Springs, AR. Their target, Nathan Tash, 41 of Hot Springs, was wanted for a Parole Violation and for a Suspended Sentence Violation out of Garland County.

Wanted Parolee Nathan Tash, 41, of Greenwood Avenue in Hot Springs – allegedly armed and barricaded dope dealer that tied 911 resources up for hours during the SWAT operation on Greenwood Avenue the other day.

Once Agents made contact with a female outside the residence it was determined Tash was inside the residence. Hot Springs Police and Investigators with the 18th East Judicial Drug Task Force responded and secured the perimeter while SRT Agents made entry into the residence in search for Tash.

Agents determined Tash was hiding in the attic and attempted several times to get him to surrender with no success. HSPD SWAT was contacted due to Tash being barricaded in the attic. Once on scene HSPD SWAT was able to get Nash to surrender after approx 1 hour of negotiations.

A subsequent search of the residence by SRT Agents and DTF Investigators uncovered 4 long guns and 2 handguns, approximately 50 grams of Methamphetamine, 6 grams of suspected marijuana, and 4 ecstasy pills. Nash was charged with Simultaneous Possession of Drugs/Firearms, 6 counts of Possession of a Firearms by Certain Persons, Maintaing a Drug Premisis, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
