Arkansas State Police Corporal Owens investigated an injury crash on I-30 Friday Night that involved 3 vehicles and a pedestrian.

Cpl. Owens was busy at the scene and with the rude drivers that kept zipping through the scene way too fast, safety was a factor.  I opted to stay on the grassy shoulder to conduct my business.

I spoke with the pedestrian that was struck by a passing vehicle as he was out assisting at a crash that just took place there on I-30 near the 99 Exit Westbound.  His info was kinda sketchy.  He said that a car crash took place between at least 1 vehicle and a guard rail along the median.  He said he pulled over to assist.  As he was assisting, a passing vehicle struck him.  He was not injured.   However, he was pretty sure that at least 1 of the occupants in 1 of the vehicles was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Bailey’s Wrecker Service took charge of and removed at least 1 of the vehicles from the scene.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 1 hour.
