2 Year Old And 4 Year Old Children Living In A Government Owned Dope House; Felony Arrests – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Special Investigations Division Detectives and HSPD SWAT Officers executed a search warrant at 221 Autumn Street #7 early in the morning last week.

Located inside the residence at the time of the raid were a 2 year old child, a 4 year old child and their parents, Eddie Tyrice Watkins, 36, of 221 Autumn Street in Hot Springs and Amy Jane Bostick, 31, of 221 Autumn Street in Hot Springs.

The following items were allegedly found inside the house, which is owned by the Hot Springs Housing Authority:

  • 51 grams of meth
  • 28 grams of marijuana
  • 2 digital scales
  • 2 used hypodermic needles
  • 3 glass meth pipes
  • 5 meth pipes
  • multiple clear bags
  • 1 hydrocodone pill
  • 15 ecstasy pills (some of them are “cartoon shaped”)
  • metal tray with straw
  • mirror with meth residue
  • $103 cash
  • 5 bundles of cash inside a safe = $7,260
  • 1 counterfeit $100 bill
  • 1 false bottom Red Bull can
  • gun parts
  • 1 Taurus Judge .45 cal/410 gauge pistol
  • 1 Texas .22 cal revolver pistol
  • 1 derringer .22 cal pistol
  • 63 rounds .22 cal ammo
  • 44 rounds .380 cal ammo
  • 1 round 9mm ammo

In plain view and easily accessible to the children were meth, marijuana, meth pipe, gun correct bullets, meth pipe and marijuana pipe.

This residence is within 1,000 feet of a church.

The police report notes that Mr. Watkins was convicted of a felony crime in 2017.  Convicted felons may not possess firearms in the state of Arkansas.
