2 Children Thrown Off Of Moving Vehicle; LifeNet Air Crew Responds – GARLAND COUNTY

When will I get my tax refund?

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy Delahunt investigated a traffic incident today when 2 children became injured after falling from atop a moving car.

Witnesses at the scene stated that the children were riding on the outside of a moving car.  When the car went around the sharp curve on Catherine Heights Road at Lance Circle, the children slid off and hit the pavement.  1 of the children was seriously injured and the decision was made by the LifeNet Ambulance Crew to order the lifeNet Air Crew to transport that patient.

Morning Star Fire & Rescue Troops responded quickly and assisted with patient care.  They also deployed to the Lakeside School Football Field, set up the landing zone and received the helicopter.  The first I heard of the second patient was after the first one was loaded onto the helicopter.  All the heroes went back to the scene where Dep. Delahunt was still taking measurements and investigating the mishap.  The second patient’s injuries were not as severe as the first one’s.  The Ambulance Crew was able to handle caring for the second patient.

Any possible traffic or criminal charges are unknown by me.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 45 minutes.
