On 7/18/2016, Hot Springs Police Officer Rodgers and Officer Steed responded to a report of a breaking or entering that had just occurred to a vehicle in a parking lot in the 1400 Block of Albert Pike Road. Dispatchers advised the officers that the suspect was a female and was reportedly holding a stick toward the victim.
Officer Rodgers and Officer Steed arrived on the scene and saw the female suspect who is identified as Paige White, 27, of Hot Springs, holding a stick in a threatening manner toward the caller. Ms. White allegedly refused several commands to put the stick down and was yelling in an incoherent manner about the “circle of life.” Officers approached Ms. White, broke her stick and placed her into custody. Ms. White allegedly continued to resist arrest and kicked at officers while being arrested. Ms. White was able to be subdued and placed into custody.
The victim stated to officers that he had seen Ms. White and a male that fled leaning into his open-top Jeep.
The victim declined to press charges against Ms. White.
Ms. White was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center.
She is charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.
Her bond is set at $1,500.00.
