Evidence at the scene suggested that a silver mini-van may have rear-ended an 18-wheeler.  The rear wheel(s) on the 18-wheeler trailer were “de-tire’d” upon impact.

Hot Springs Fire & Rescue Troops responded very quickly and assisted as needed.

Any possible injury info for this crash was not available at the time.

The aftermath of the crash snarled traffic for at least an hour.
